That's crazy. My company laptop packed in once (video card melted or something) and they sent out a nice man the next day with a new motherboard who installed it and it was all sorted. Also, when my power cable started to wear out I called them up and I got a new one the next day. So did I just get lucky, or was Management unlucky? Pfft. That’s crazy. Temperature-wise I can't comment, as the 4 Samsungs are much better ventilated, being in the separate section in a P180 case where they get their own separate airflow, whilst the Raptor doesn't have a fan next to it... I should fix that. But yes, Raptors are expensive.
