Intro
Hey, so I set up a web log thing. Maybe I can actually remember to post on it this time. Chances are good, since the last one was a pain to use – it was written by an idiot (me).
I finally got around to drawing the pretty logo (see top-right) that I’d had in my head for a while. It’s pretty cool how graphics packages can do all the wacky special effects stuff now, it’s like being in the future.
So. This week, I have been mostly cleaning stuff (or attempting to). My landlord is coming around this week to do a preliminary move-out inspection thing, so I need to have everything shipshape before she gets here. In the lucky event that she isn’t disgusted by the carpet and tries to stab me (not my fault, it came like that) I might actually get some of my deposit back.
Apart from the dents in the walls, and the condition of the linoleum in the bathroom, and in the kitchen. I have a terrible memory, so I don’t know how many of those are actually my fault (I’m pretty sure the bathroom thing isn’t, but who knows as to the rest). One nice thing about all this is that in a month I’ll have moved in to my new place and regardless of what has happened here, I’ll be free and clear of it. So that’s something to look forward to, then.
